We are a group of 5 producers located in the south of Chile, in the Malleco Valley, Region de La Araucanía, with an area of 200 hectares (500 ac) planted and a production that in the 2024-2025 season will be approximately 1.500 tons. We produce cherries of exceptional quality, of the REGINA, KORDIA, LAPINS, SANTINA AND SWEET HEART varieties.

SANTA ANA
Francisco Medina, the owner of Los Tatas, with 104 hectares, is the largest producer of the group, with orchards planted between 2005 and 2022, of the Kordia, Lapins, Regina, Areko and Sweetheart varieties.
The farm led by Jorge Cortes and Manuel Blanco accumulates almost 47 hectares, with orchards planted between 2015 and 2021, mainly of the Kordia and Regina varieties.
Rubén Vásquez is the smallest producer in the group and his farm have 6 hectares of the Lapins and Regina varieties, planted between 2012 and 2020.
Santa Marina, with 25 hectares planted with the Kordia and Regina varieties, planted between 2020 and 2022 is led by David Estrada
The Las Nenas, led by Ariela Jiménez, has just over 30 hectares planted in 2021, of the Kordia and Regina varieties.

Together, the 5 producers achieved a production of around 1,500 tons in the 2023-2024 season,
which is projected to increase to 2,000 tons in the next 5 years.
SEASON 24-25
This season our production will be approximately 1,500 tons and we are looking to directly market a volume of approximately 100 tons.

The Red Mercado Cerezas Exporta Araucanía project is an initiative financed by Corfo and supported by ProChile, through which 5 producers in the area have organized themselves with the aim of working collaboratively to overcome gaps that allow us to address technical challenges, administrative and commercial, which will allow us to address future market opportunities, mainly in Asia and Europe, in the coming seasons.
